On February 6th two Earthquakes with magnitude of 7.8 and 7.6 rocked Türkiye, taking a very heavy toll on more than 13.5 million people and in the 11 southeast provinces.

Ummati Relief Foundation have launched an emergency appeal following a 7.8 magnitude earthquake in Türkiye in the early hours of 6th February 2023. More than 44,000 thousand people have lost their lives and leaving in its wake over 110,000 injured with with strong tremors being felt in several countries across the region including Syria.

Ummati Relief Foundation has deployed teams in Türkiye to provide hunger relief to families residing in the Hatay province, which is located near the Syrian border distributing aid to the victims of this earthquake with hot meals and basic relief to those in need.
