Who We Are

Ummati Relief Foundation (URF) is a UK registered charity which supports local and international projects. Ummati Relief Foundation is committed to a 100% donations policy (No Salaries). All our work is carried out by amazing, experienced volunteers. It’s services are administered and managed by the Management Team (Trustees).

Ummati Relief Foundation provides effective humanitarian aid and sustainable development programs and support in some of the world’s most impoverished areas, without discrimination, based on the Islamic principles of human dignity, self-reliance, and social justice. Since the foundation was formed we have provided emergency and sustainable aid to many of vulnerable people around the world. To help alleviate poverty, we have helped on food projects, long-term water solutions, orphan care, seasonal relief such as winter relief, emergency relief aid during the devastating earthquake in Turkey, ambulances, food, medical aid for Palestine Gaza. 

Who We Serve

Ummati Relief Foundation was established to serve the needs of fellow humans, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, class, location, religion, colour, cultural background, political affiliation, or social status. We are especially focused on countries in which the majority of their people live below the poverty line.

Ummati Relief Foundation is globally engaged and our partners include small and large community support groups, national alliances, and international relief organisations.

Our Donors

Ummati Relief Foundation has most of their funding coming from Zakat, Fidya, Kaffarah, Dhul Hijjah, Qurbani, Lillah, Fitrana and Sadaqah.

Importance Of Your Donation

Whoever relieves a believer’s distress of the distressfull aspects of this world, Allah (SWT) will rescue him from a difficulty of the difficulties of the Hereafter. Whoever alleviates [the situation of] one in dire straits who cannot repay his debt, Allah (SWT) will alleviate his lot in both this world and the Hereafter. Whoever conceals [the faults of] a Muslim, Allah (SWT) will conceal [his faults] in this life and the Hereafter. (MUSLIM) Hadith 36.

Ummati Relief Foundation treats your donation as an amana (trust). For this reason, we must respect the trust of our supporters and donors in an honest and professional manner and be transparent and accountable in our operation. Ummati Relief Foundation monitors every donation to ensure that distinct Zakat, Sadaqah and Lillah funds are spent correctly. At Ummati Relief Foundation, we are committed to maintaining full transparency and endeavor to keep you informed from the moment you make a donation until the completion of the charitable project to which you have contributed.

100% Donation Policy 

Our commitment to allocating 100% of donations guarantees that every penny received is dedicated entirely to aiding those in need, rather than being utilized for administrative expenses, marketing, or fundraising initiatives.

Administrative expenses, marketing, or fundraising initiatives all these expenses are covered through direct contributions from our generous supporters and are funded through the tax reclaimed from your donation, as specified under the UK government’s Gift Aid scheme.

We hold the trust of our donors in the highest esteem and assure you that every penny contributed is exclusively directed towards the specific cause or project you have chosen to support.

Our initiatives are executed by dedicated and skilled volunteers, with oversight provided by trustees who possess expertise in management and the charitable sector.
