At URF UK, we deliver targeted, compassionate interventions to address the nation’s most pressing social challenges. Our portfolio of projects is designed to provide critical support and foster long-term resilience within vulnerable communities.
1. Mental Health Support Programme
Recognising mental health as a cornerstone of overall well-being, our URF Mental Health Initiative works to dismantle barriers to care. Through strategic partnerships with clinical professionals, we deliver accessible counselling, therapeutic workshops, and public awareness campaigns, empowering individuals to achieve better mental and emotional health.
2. Survivor Support Service
This initiative provides a comprehensive safety net for survivors of domestic violence. We offer secure shelter, trauma-informed counselling, and vital legal advocacy to help individuals and families rebuild their lives. Our mission is to create a pathway from crisis to safety, stability, and renewed independence.
3. Homelessness Outreach Project
This project addresses the urgent needs of the homeless population through direct street-level outreach. We provide essential provisions—including nutritious meals, weather-appropriate clothing, and hygiene kits—along with connections to temporary shelter, restoring a sense of dignity and opening doors to further support.
4. The Dignity Project
The Dignity Project works to eliminate period poverty by guaranteeing reliable access to essential menstrual hygiene products for women and girls. This initiative is foundational to advancing gender equality, ensuring that a lack of access does not hinder education, employment, or daily life.
5. Building Lives: Skills for the Future
Focused on sustainable empowerment, our Building Lives project invests in human potential. We offer vocational training, professional development, and educational scholarships, equipping individuals with the tools to secure lasting employment and contribute positively to their communities.
