Qurbani 2026

Qurbani 2026 UK | Give Your Qurbani from £25 | Ummati Relief Foundation

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim

As the days of Qurbani approach, believers perform the ritual sacrifice of an animal as an act of obedience and devotion to Allah.

When the Prophet (peace be upon him) was asked about the nature of Qurbani, he replied: “It is the Sunnah of your father Ibrahim (peace be upon him).”

This means Qurbani is not merely a ritual. It is a living tradition of faith, submission, and gratitude to Allah.

Qurbani is a highly blessed and virtuous act. According to authentic teachings, the number of sins forgiven for the one offering the sacrifice is as numerous as the hairs on the body of the sacrificed animal.

This makes Qurbani a powerful opportunity for: Spiritual purification, Seeking Allah’s mercy and Erasing past sins. Every sincere believer who offers a Qurbani earns rewards beyond measure.

Ummati Relief Foundation will be conducting Qurbani across 7 countries – Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Jordon and India to deliver your Qurbani to families and communities in need, ensuring that they can celebrate the joy of Eid Al-Adha with the rest of us. Our global network ensures your sacrifice is performed on time, according to Sunnah, and with maximum reward.

A Sacred Act of  Worship Qurbani is a highly commendable act of worship—a means of drawing closer to Allah (SWT) by sacrificing an animal in accordance with Islamic guidelines. When you give your Qurbani donation through a trusted global charity, you combine religious duty with profound compassion.

Sayidatuna Aisha r.a narrates that The Prophet of Allah (peace be upon  him) said:

“There is no dearer deed of Ibn Adam in the days of Qurbani than flowing the blood (doing Qurbani) and that animal will come with his horns, hairs, and hooves on the day of Qiyamah. Thee blood of the Qurbani reaches the stage of acceptance before it reaches the floor.” (Tirmizi, Ibnu Majah)

Questions and Answers.

What is Qurbani ? –

As per Islamic tradition, if you are a sane adult Muslim, eligible to pay Zakat, then you are required to offer Qurbani.

What is the requirement: One goat or sheep is sufficient for one family. As for cows and camels, these can be shared by seven families. Ummati Relief Foundation, give you the option of sacrificing one seventh of a cow. However, given that Qurbani is a great act of worship, you may sacrifice as many animals as you wish.

How is my donation spent? Your donation is used to purchase a healthy veterinary certified animal, feed and maintain the animal until Eid day, slaughter costs, packaging and then distribution to those in need. It’s important to recognise that your donation should not be diluted with any other funding to purchase your qurbani share. At Sharing Wonders, we ensure we adhere to this.

When will the Qurbani be completed? Insha’Allah, we aim to complete all Qurbani’s on the first day of Eid Al-Adha by midday local time.

Yes, many charities accept donations up to the 13th of Dhul Hijjah. However, early giving is strongly encouraged to ensure the best livestock and timely execution.

Why does early giving improve livestock quality?

Local procurement teams can select animals from a larger pool, often at better prices and health conditions, before supplies become limited closer to Eid.
